Nice work! Now the cap is just held in by the jumbo orings right? I would have threaded it to keep it come getting lose in my backpack, but you have a better feel for if it's tight enough then I do. What machine are you making this on?
Ohh and isn't boring fun? Did you use drills the whole way or did you have a boring bar available? Nothing I like better than the old, cut .125, unbolt the tail stock, yank it out, blow it off, clean the hole, squirt some oil in , rebolt the tail stock and repeat. Of course if you use sharp bits you can keep going while making those cool coils.
