Threads and boring bars...

I thought about threading it - but I would have to make the walls of the piece thicker - and add weight. The walls of this project are .030 but because it is a circle are STRONG!

The thing is awesome and he only uses O-rings.

By the way - the O-rings are regulator piston O-rings from a CCM regulator.

I used a .500 drill bit, then a .635 two fluted end mill so that I could get the boring bar to fit, then I used a boring bar the rest of the way.

It was a little nerve racking - but I am MUCH more confident now.
