At least paper gives the environment a chance of recovery.
Plastic bags stick around, as do other plastics, for far, far too long. Plastics are used way too often for applications which don't strictly require it, and it's causing huge amounts of waste that we can't process.
I'm no extremist tree hugger, but i can't stand the prevalence of plastics in everything. Leave it for the applications that need it.
