a little extrapolation

by Sencha

This is more or less a build of the "I did it" style. I do not intend to have a battery on board, but I may throw in a rechargeable battery wired similar to what the original design was so excess power can be stored and be used as a backup in lowlight conditions. If I can play one day of continuous paintball I will consider it a success.

As per the cells many of the ones at work are damaged in some way. Usually only one or 2 of the cells in within the solar unit are broken (hairline cracks), but I don't know if the rest will still work as I need it too. May have to rob a few dozen calculators of their smaller cells, but I want to minimize the parts needed (less wiring/soldering and the like).

In the meantime I want to get the power supply all rigged up before deciding what board I will hook it up too (really crappy gun's stock board of some sort likely).
