I was gonna run it all hooked up. The solar cells can charge the battery as well as provide power to the board. Then if there is overcast the battery kicks in. I'll put in a capacitor just to be on the safe side of things so that any excessive power the solar cells may produce won't be running to the board and the battery equally but instead a controlled flow to the board and the extra waves power going straight to the battery.
