Last truck I had...

by Izzy

I mounted the amps to the bottom of the seats in a way that the seats still slid back and forth but if you looked under the seats quickly, as a theif might do, they were not really noticable yet a pain in the ass to get out had they saw them and really wanted them.

I admit to the usual head unit install (no backstrap) and yes, the local rock monster (crack head) just grabbed and pulled therefore breaking the adapter plate that held my Eclipse CD player in the dash and the prick wasn't even nice enough to unclip the wiring harness therefore breeaking the clips off the harness plugs. Well, he is in jail on unrelated charges, noone knows where my radio is, Eclipse says nobody has requested the name of the Securty CD I chose to lock the head unit, and I now have a newer truck and newer Eclipse that I have not mounted yet. I will go the extra step to mount it more securely...once I get an alarm (with additional speaker mounted inside cab) installed.

I will be pulling my Boston Acoustics speakers out of my other truck and putting them into the newer one and using the Torx screws to mount them.
