Ah, yes, the joys of parts scrounging for an old bike...

I'm finally riding my '82 Yamaha after 2.5 years of working on the thing (when I bought it, I figured I'd be riding in 2-3 months, tops).

I haven't heard of any way to re-key bike locks. I realize that you've already bought the replacements, but have you tried checking if any other (possibly more common) bikes used the same part? I wouldn't be surprised if, say, some of the smaller CB's used the same locksets, and it might be easier to find complete sets of those...

Eh, that's probably too obvious, and you've already tried it.
