Well if there is a spot for it, maybe, wanna put a sling around the top and fastened to something, you know, incase it dose crack you don't end up with a broken foot.
I'm personaly terrible at welding and would have put a "thick-ass" bracket around it. Think a pipe cut in half with nubbs welded on for four pinch bolts to run through.
Now the big question, are you going to tap that pug? :[]
