I threaded it the full 1", after it escaped me. I knew full well it would be long, and figured I could tap the brake deeper.
Yeah, not paying $60 for a tap I'll use once.
Either way, it needs the front sight block modded or replaced, anyway, so I'll do that. I'll measure the brakes to double-check how long it needs to be.
Haven't asked the gurus yet, but I've heard 'around 1/2"' around.
