Wrote a short book, primarily about English snipers. In it, he demonstrates a "ghille" of sorts which is colored like bricks and rubble. Lots of tans, greys, a splash of brick red, etc.
There's a pic in the book where he claims to be in the frame in this suit. I've owned the book for quite some time and still can't definitely say I've found him.
Like any other form of camo, break up your outline with indigenous colors, and you should be good to go.
