OT: Is Bernzomatic junk?

by Danny77

I bought a torch a while back like the one shown herehttp://www.amazon.com/Bernzomatic-TS1500T-Self-Igniting-Torch/dp/B000IJV5P2/ref=sr_1_13?s=hi&ie=UTF8&qid=1311804103&sr=1-13

It worked pretty good for the plumbing project I was doing. It sits on the shelf for a few months, I pull it out to use it on the 4th to light off some fireworks and works fine. A few days later I needed it for a job, and after about 10 minutes of trying to get it to light, I gave up. Last week I picked it up again just to see if it would light, and sure enough three out of the 4 times I clicked it it started up. Today I try it again, several dozen clicks later, nothing.

Whats up with that? Is there some problem with these, or something else Im unaware of that is making it so fickle, or are these just junk?
