Old stone house, foot thick external walls, big wine cellar to hide in... Been standing for over a century can take some abuse... maybe a few to many windows for "wholly secure"
Of course the fact that Dutch weather isn't that freaky also helps a bunch, i mean sure in 53 we had the whole flood thing and part of the local cathedral got knocked down by a tornado but that was in the dark ages and that's the most extreme weather i can recall offhand;) Haaaaa it's good to live in a stable area without any people throwing fits, be they human or mother nature and father time...
I do have an alpine survival story if you people want me to tell it?
