Started off with a Spyder and kept that with a stock barrel. Then moved on to the micro mag and closed bolts. I specifically chose the micromag because of the cocker barrel thread knowing that I like the clickity clackity of a 'cocker but just could not afford one at the time. You had little choice with a close bolt unless you liked shooting first shot duds due to rollouts. Go figure, I custom ordered 3 nickel plated brass BOA barrels in .686-.688 and then the next season and forever more the paint here drops to ~0.680. I have easily $1500 retail worth of barrels and the only ones I can use are the old Scepter and SM-1 kits. I prefer one piece. Shooting a mini I don't notice the accuracy difference in big bore vs small bore, but I can easily squeeze another ~10 fps out of a properly sized tube. That's enough for me to size it right.
