I'm sure there might be, but I'm trying to be positive about it ("always with the negative waves, Moriarty!") However, I've heard that Dex-Cool coolant can eat gaskets if it's not circulated regularly. The car was on the lot at the dealership for over six months.
I'll have to check, but I don't think my policy has a towing rider.
Actually, every time I've had to replace a water pump, the vehicle broke down at or near home, near enough to push it. Which gave me the time to get a regular gasket.
