Honestly, I've been toying with the idea of buying a new soldering station for a while. The '808 just gets too heavy when you're 100 pins into a 200 pin desolder job. That, and I need to condense and reduce the amount of clutter on the bench. So I just ordered a new Xytronic 8800 station. (Couldn't afford that $2000 JBC that I really really want).
