I didn't post it as the "Biggest Lathe Evar!" y'know. There's plenty with more swing than this- the local industrial machine shop (they work mostly on oilfield stuff) recently bought an entire separate building, in some small part to house a lathe with a supposed seventy-foot long bed.
However, it's the biggest I've seen for local sale, and it's the biggest I've actually seriously considered buying. The photos don't do it justice- it's freakin' huge. I'll bet I could turn an entire GM 14-bolt axle housing in that thing- without taking the yoke out.
Fortunately, I rarely need to turn entire axle housings.
