Does *thinking* about how to repair a hole in the wall count?
This is a problem that came with the Condo: the cable connection in my "office" (formerly the Master Bedroom) has a hole that's bigger than the cover for the connector. I'd have to pull out the TV & what it's sitting on to refresh my memory, but I figure I may have to do something about it soon, as I think bugs are getting into the unit that way.
I remember reading an article somewhere (don't ask me where) about how to fix holes in drywall, and just adopt the process to the cover. I'm not even sure how it got that way in the first place; when BrightHouse (cable company) came to deliver my box, the tech fixed a phone jack, but not the hole.
So, gearheads - am I even close, or is there some other way to fix this?
