Nothing paint-related, but I got a lot done on the control system for the roverbot project.
Sorry for the quick-and-dirty photo; it was still in work when I called it a night, so I literally just swept everything aside and snapped a shot.
This is the early stage of a roverbot project I'm finally getting around to building. Right now it does little more than follow inputs from the joystick - I've essentially just reinvented radio control at this point - but now that I seem to have a somewhat robust control system in place, I can attach it to the chassis and start working in the other systems, to eventually include a pan/tilt camera, video overlay, telemetry, GPS guidance, autonomous navigation, obstacle detection and avoidance, etc.
I'm waiting on a handful of power connectors at the moment, and once it's together in a stable configuration, I need to catch up on documenting everything. I'm happy that it's finally making progress though, so overall a pretty good weekend.
