Could always go for a very light non-glare yellowish tint? Just enough to indicate a change when compared to the white.
Of course, no-necks and other such types you can go for the reflective or black tints, since they're not needed for expressions.
Personally, the bit I always wonder about is the ears. That has got to sting, even if they've got something to block the ear channel itself. Still, creative license.
