... I do recall years ago, when I was building my 4WD Corvair, that a local tire shop was selling a set of early-generation "Mattrack" type tracks very much like those. And for some absurdly low price too, like $600. It might have been $1600, which was still a pretty decent deal...

I pondered long and hard over buying them- I was already making an oddball ride, why not go full gonzo? happy.gif

Fortunately- or unfortunately, depending on your point of view- I passed on 'em. I had enough troubles with that car without trying to toss trackage on top of it all. I've always wondered if they'd have been street-legal...
