In fact, I think that was the year I replaced the 386sx MB inmy first Tower with an IBM Cobalt MB with the IBM 'Blue Lighting' 486BL3 75MHz CPU.
(i486 without built-in math co-processor, running at 25MHz externally, and clock-tripled internally. Which is why Intel used DX4 on their clock-tripled CPUs... )
I ended up giving that cmputer to my father some time after Y2K, an he used it to digitise LPs and produce programs for a local radio station.
