"Played" for about a year and a half a long time back.
But we usually used the paint guns for "live fire' training. This was before "SimFire", airsoft and other "Force on Force" systems became available for tactics and shoot/no shoot training. We did play against civilian individuals/teams occasionally just for fun as it was good training since they didn't "follow the rules" and had us reacting as we would during a "Real World" situation. Very good realistic training and we all had fun.
I have played a few times since, but age and disabilities keep me from doing anything like that unless it's a quick pick-up game among friends/family.
