The death of a original.

by MephitMark

I was just looking up a comic that I found in book form way back in the 1990's. Footrots Flats https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Footrot_Flats). I was taken at how well it portrays the humorous side of farm life. Even as far away as New Zealand. I was surprised to see one site say the author had passed away. I had checked Wikipedia which also said he passed away this morning. Double-checking I found this:http://www.nzherald.co.nz/entertainment/news/article.cfm?c_id=1501119&objectid=11816852

Could not find any listing for on-line copies of his old comic. But I can well recommend it.
