I was obliged to do a little cleanup to a couple of article pages in order to help a fellow out with a similar machine-repair task- it's something I've been needing to do for a while anyway, so I killed a spare hour to two sweeping up a few links and doing a quick reformat to a few pages.
Quick page update for the gearheads...by Doc Nickel
If you're interested, the semi-new "machine Builds" page is here:
The old "shop projects" page will be for the smaller tools (such as the bench grinders and custom stands) and custom tool projects (like the spline cutter and body hammer.)
The "Machine Builds" page will document the big ones- the Springfield lathe, the new Exacto mill, and so on.
Eventually everything will be cleaned up and posted, but as always, it's a matter of free time, so it'll be updated simply whenever I have the chance.
