My very small shop-vac couldn't handle more than an hour of cutting Plywood before the filter was clogged(crappy design. But it was cheap!).
With the cyclone attached and dumping into a bottle, it can run all day(or until the bottle is full)
The only thing it had issues with is the long 'strings' you sometimes get when cutting along the grain in plywood. Some of those would ball up and stick in the cyclone.
(I'm designing a new one that will empty into a 150mm diameter thinwalled PVC pipe. That hould make for a nice, spacesaving tank.)
