Trust me, if we'd had a system like that back when the body was designed, we'd have used it in a heartbeat. But at the time- circa 2004, some 13 years ago (!) - the Angel feed neck thread was pretty much the standard, and looking back, would more or less remain so for another three or four years.
The big recession of 2007-2008, however, killed several of the aftermarket companies that supplied replacement necks (KAPP, Shocktech, etc.) and shortly after that, even helped kill WDP itself.
Without the aftermarket support, and few guns coming with the thread stock (DYE had their own thread by that time, and Smart Parts had always kept their own, plus Bob Long and WGP had theirs) it kind of fell by the wayside.
