When I went to replace my last car, I wanted to go back to a truck. Since I have a thing for whimsy and 'cute' vehicles, near the top of my list was toyota's re-make of the FJ. Unfortunately, while I had a grand ol time test driving it, it didn't make cut, as: a)I didn't fit in the back seat(1); b)between the 'b' and 'c' pillars, there was very poor visibility toward the rear, and c) I had about an inch and a half of headroom, which is about the same as the Tacoma. That (and a terrible experience with the honda dealership(2)) left me with the Tundra I currently drive.
1. I occasionally hauled around multiple people my size at the time, and my reasoning was that if I didn't fit, they wouldn't either.
