In 1981, DC Comics had a HOT new title called "the New Teen Titans." (It introduced Cyborg, Starfire and Raven, Robin became Nightwing, etc.) Issue 8 was "A Day in the Life", a slice-of-life issue where we saw the heroes when they just tried to live their lives and not fight villains. It was a smash success. The staff, expecting the readers to hate it, had already charted the next several issues to all be heavy on action to compensate, and were shocked and surprised the fans liked it.
Just wanted to let you know that, again, we're enjoying the current storyline, and there's no need to plan a year of heavy explosives to compensate for it. If your story calls for them, fine, we like that also! But you're doing fine work as an entertainer now, and there's no need to try to pander to the audience, so to speak.
