For a second there, I was expecting to see somebody trying to spline an axle using a hydraulic press as an arbor press or shaper.
Cool video, but for me, like so many other videos out there, there's so much wasted time. That is, watching the lathe take a pass, watching the guy do the programming, etc. The same video could be edited to a third that length and lose nothing by way of detail.
And I'm still not sure I like the head-mounted camera for anything that isn't an action scene (IE, playing paintball, riding a mountain bike, etc.) It's interesting, and no, it doesn't make me "seasick" or anything, but the constantly-changing viewpoint, and occasional shaking (like while he's cranking the carriage) get annoying.
