The first vehicle was a motorcycle, (bike), and it probably went down because it had 500 horsepower, and the back end tried to pass up the front end. The rider was very experienced, I sure he's made hundreds of runs on very fast, very powerful bikes. But in order to set a record, you have to go faster than you or anyone else has ever gone in that class, on that track. Which means each run you have to push harder. In this case, he couldn't keep the bike straight during the initial start. I'm grateful it happened right at the beginning instead of anytime later. I've seen what happens when a bike goes down at 200mph.
