A lot of restaurant moguls are getting in on the high end hamburger craze that's been going on since La Frieda meats started offering ground beef made from aged prime meat.
Shake shack, which has been opening multiple locations throughout NYC, is owned by Danny Meyer, who also owns Union Square Cafe and Gramercy Tavern.
Minetta Tavern now offers a 26 dollar black label burger.
Little Owl, one of the best new restaurants to open in New York in the last coupla years has a la Frieda burger on the menu.
