      Swastikas can swing both ways (huh, huh), with both being 'good luck'. During the 20s it as a widely used design motif. Rupert Kipling used it in his books. It is still widely used in Buddhist and Hindu countries. It was sacred to the Navajo, who pledged to stop using it in the 30s.
