Still not sure how it happened, all we know is that the freezer was unplugged for at least a week before it was discovered. which meant everything had thawed, and spoiled. My mother had plugged it back in, and stopped the spoilage from getting worse (read smelling, some what). So, I am my elder sisters ended up removing the contents for disposal. Which included the 2-3" thick chunk of frozen goo from the bottom of the freezer. Which also emitted an odor that maggots liked. Then the job of washing and disinfecting the freezer.
If you ever want to really 'spoil' and enemies week, not their day, then while their away on vacation, unplug their freezer so they have a real surprise awaiting them.
Other wise I don't have much time to do much with now having to work two jobs. One full time days contract, and a part-time evening job. All the while enjoying the insane heat we have.
