I was just recently refered to this site by a friend who is going through a lot of the post tubal problems I have had. After talking with other women, I too have discovered that Post Tubal Syndrome does igzist. I'm grieving over what has happened to my body. If I had been told of possible side effects I would have never had a Tubal Ligation. I never had problems untill after my tubes were tied. Since then I have experienced much of what the site talks of. Seven months after my tubal I started experiencing very heavy periods. I sought medical help from my primary physician who told me that it was normal. After a year of heavy periods, I sought medical help again. A sonagraham was done ,and it was discovered that I had a polyup in my uterus. I had a D & C. This helped for a while. A few months later I requested a hormone panel be done during my regular annual physical blood work up. The test showed that my progestrone level was .1 and I was perscribed 10mg. of provera to be taken for ten days starting on day 16 after my period starts. This helped for app. 3 months. I'm starting to have problems again. I'm having two periods a month. I'm not sure where to go from here. My Gyn. wants to put me on the pill. I have refused after reading the info in the site. I need help, but at this point I'm not sure where to turn. I would like to have Dr.H evaluate me but I doubt I can afford the cost. IS anyone going throught this? Any suggestions?
