did you ever get your past labs and records?
As I understand, when women hit menopause their cholesterol levels can start to go up. (mine did) It must be something with the loss of hormones...
Still, I don't think that having a high cholesterol is an "indicator" of anything expect that your cholesterol levels are high.
The only way to know your hormone levels would be to have those tested.
Now, on the other hand... if you've always had low cholesterol, and all of a sudden it's high, and you learn that your hormone levels are off.... does that mean that one caused the other??? we may never know.
What we do know is women are not being informed of the true risks of TL.
