who needs a doctor to get your homones checked?

Ladies,
for all of you who are having a hard time getting your doctor to give you a hormone test, I have found a few solutions. You can either go to an independant lab, you can find them in the yellow pages under "lab, medical" the ones I have found do all the necessary testing that I copied from this website. I live in Anchorage Alaska so if I can find a lab then anyone in the lower 48 should be able to far easier. Or you could go to your local pharmacist and ask for a saliva hormone test. I was told that it checks three hormones.

If either of these tests come up positive then this should prod your doctors into getting some sort of hrt for you. Good luck to all!!!!!!!
