Anxiety

What really helped me was realizing that I was causing my own anxiety by anticipating my next anxiety attack. You know how sometimes you'll just sit there and hope and pray that you won't have an attack? Well, that's the first step to creating one.
What also helped me ALOT was learning that my symptoms were NORMAL. O.K., when you have an anxiety or panic attack you can't breath, you feel like you're going to faint, arms and legs go numb, you feel hot, diarrea, fuzzy vision, dizziness, tingling in extremities, irritated stomach and think "crazy" thoughts. The reason why people with anxiety have these symptoms is because our adreneline is pumping through us like we're being attacked by something....whether there is something there or not... it's fight or flight. Have you ever been scared so badly before that you have had these same symnptoms? Of Course! You feel dizzy and light headed because all the blood is rushing to your stomach, your arms and legs go numb because for the same reason. I'd explain the rest but I'm sure you're catching on...adreneline is very powerful necessary stuff! Now here is how you stop it...you HAVE to let the anxiety come. Don't fight it when you feel one coming on...just keep telling yourself that it's only anxiety and it will go away...it always does! The more you do it the less anxiety you have. I was like the WORST case scenario for anxiety and after I let the anxiety come and not fight it, it was mostly gone, it takes about 3-5 times of letting it happen and you have to put yourself in situations where you usually have them, grocery store maybe one of them or in-laws ect....it's hard but necessary, take baby steps.
I highly recommend that you get the tapes though. They teach you how to think positively and nutrition and why you have it and most others don't seem to.....there's about 15 tapes to the set. Believe me, it works!
