Does anyone know why Celebrex would be perscribed?
by kmiller
My periods have gotten extremely painful and heavy since my tubal four years ago. My Gyn perscribed me Celebrex to help. I really hate having to take anything (I won't even take an aspirin unless I am really in pain!) He told me to take it a day or two before the start of my period, and to take it during. I don't know why, but it helps, at least I am not in a fetal position on the floor during the first couple of days. What does this medication do that lightens my periods and helps make the pain bearable? I know that this medication is an anti-inflamatory, so why does it work for this?
