Re: the pill
by
I would be against the pill also except for the fact that after my last son was born I went thru horrible post pardum depression and was on a high dose of antidepression medication and could not kick it. I went back on birth control pills and with in two months I was fine and off the antidepressants. From the reading I have been doing it seems to me that my hormonal imbalance was caused by going off birth control pills, not the surgery. All I know is the depression that set in within 60 days of going off birth control pills was awful and if a bc pill will help then that is what I will do for the time being, until I can do more research and find a better way. I could not put my family thru anymore of this. The best book that I have found is Listening To Your Hormones by Gillian Ford. Dr Vickie is in there and Dr. John Lee and other Drs. They explore both natural and synthetic hormones and the disadvantages and advantages of both. Please read it. It will make you feel better and help you make a informed decision. Good Luck Denise
