I might try this if the new route doesn't work out. I saw my regular M.D. yesterday and told him what happened in the ER last week. He thinks the Depakote is a good idea (I'm on a very low dose & have felt a little better), and gave me a small script for Ativan. He then referred me to a different doctor, in a different town, and with a different hospital network.

The new doc is an OB-GYN, and I will ask him for the hormone tests. If I can't get anywhere with him, then I will try an independant lab. I have to see someone, though, because I have been in constant pain for the last week & my period tried to start, but quit again! GRRRRRRRR this stuff is agravating! My regular MD said that the depakote may be what stopped it...who knows?

My best to you
Diana
