update & question

Well I spoke to my doctor about my weepiness and depression-told him I need hormone testing due to my tubal 15 months ago. He claims the symptoms I am having are related to PMS-3 things I could do 1)cut back on caffeine,diet and excersise(healthy way) 2) Birth control pills 3)prescibed Seraphin (not sure I spelled this right) which is a mild anti depressant-he called in a 3 month try to the pharmacy. He said I should determine how many days of the month I feel the symptoms. Does anyone know about this? I think it is PX is another word for Prozac. Are there side effects??
