You shouldn't have asked....LOL

Trust me...you don't want to know how I'm feeling! My regular MD called in some sort of prescription for pain (for my cramps), but I'm holding off until after work because I know whatever it is will make me sleepy.

Sleep is the only escape for me, Dee. My only piece of mind. I'm taking the Depakote (a small dose-250 mg.) twice a day, which is a mood stabilizer (for my anger fits), and I have 1 mg. Ativan for when things get overwhelming. I have to be frugal with them, because I only have about 8 left, and they can be addictive. I don't want to trade one set of problems for another. That's all I'm on right now, which doesn't help the cramps. I took 4 motrin yesterday & they just didn't help at all.

I have one more hour here at work, then off to the pharmacy, and then home, probably to sleep. I just can't stay awake on all those meds. I thank God for my husband, who is very lovingly taking care of the boys and the house.

I haven't heard anything from my regular MD on getting me an appointment with the new GYN. I will try to convince the new GYN to test my hormones & if that doesn't work, then I will contact a lab myself, as was suggested on a few other posts.

I want a laporascopy (spelling?) done to see if there is any damage or a lot of endometriosis inside of me. Something has to be causing the pain...but I'm afraid that if they do see damage that they won't tell me! I'll be asleep, you know...

I hate this stuff.

I sensed an up-beat in your post, Dee, and I'm glad you are getting over your hump. I pray that the Sarafem works for you, at least until you can find a permanent solution.

I'm glad your co-worker has decided against her tubal. I also advise anyone thinking about it not to! Even if it is a small percentage of us that this happens to, it isn't worth the risk to trade your sanity!

I don't know how often I'll get to the board this weekend, but I'll try to keep watch, in case you need a shoulder .

Take care of yourself!
Diana
