Prescribed treatment

Almost two weeks on my bio-identical cream and I almost feel normal again. I have had broncitis so I am still not physically feeling well, but holy cow mentally I feel so much better you would not believe it. Ladies if I would have listened to the first two Drs I went to I would be drugged up on a shrinks couch grasping at straws as to why I wanted to run away and creating more problems for myself. If I would have done what the Naturopathic Dr. I saw said to do I would still be waiting for my body to "balance out" or I would have committed suicide. Just keep searching until you find a Dr. who at best will test you and knows how to read hormones. He or she does not have to agree with you as to why your hormones are so screwed up, mine told me that it has nothing to do with a tl or going off the pill, all they need to agree on is that your levels are to low or to high and start some kind of treatment to help you balance out. As far as I am concerned an antidepressant is just a fraction of what you need. ( I am taking one now) It will help ease the symptoms but you need to find out what is high or low hormonally or you will never feel better. They are just band aids. I have tried several and have been fighting this with all I have for eight months and the only real difference came when I went back on bc pills (hormones) and the best improvement has been the bio-identical hormone cream. I am still taking the antidepressants and will contine to for another 6 weeks until I re-do my blood test and find out where my levels are. When they are where they need to be I will gladly ween off. Good Luck! DO NOT GIVE UP!!!!!!
