Now that I found out what is wrong, what do I do now?
by
As I have read all the other entries, I see myself and the exact way I am currently feeling. The problem is now that I know what is wrong, what do I do now?
I have an appointment with my OB. The not the one who did the TL, but her associate. My original one is on vacation for 2 months. What tests do I ask for? Do I ask for copies of my medical records, and what parts? What if she says PTS doesn't exist? I live in a very small community, and don't have a lot of medical resources.
Next... Has any body found any natural alternatives to HRT? Both my mother and Aunt have died of Breast Cancer, and I am terrified of theses.
Second...Does this ever go away? I mean for older women who have gone through the change of life the symptoms eventually deminish, and they enter a new phase of life, free of the perimenppausal symptoms. Or am I doomed to live with this for the next 20-30 years, or for the rest of my natural life span? Is there anyone out there on the other side of this now?
As I sit here the tears are streaming down my face. I am so mad, at myself for not doing better reseach prior, my OB for not warning me....and on and on.
I have two little girls and a wonderful husband, do you ever stop taking it all out on them, even when it is out of your control because of your hormones?
Any answers or all would be much appreciated. Thanks for your time.
