Dear Courtney,
Knowing what it is (or what might be) causing the way you're feeling may help with dealing with the stress and short tempers you have with your family. Do not take it out on them. It's not their fault. You might want to explain to them that you need time to your self now and then, and when it gets to be too much go in your room and shut the door.
Do not be mad at your self. You made the best decision with the information which was given to you. You need to understand that information was withheld from you with intent so you'd made a decision that the doctor wanted you to make. In this manner you are a victim.
It would not have much of a difference if you had researched before, because information about PTS isn't printed or presented in any manner by the ACOG.
Also, it is not (and was not) your duty to research. It's the duty of the doctor to INFORM you of benifits and risks.
