Is there anything that can be done for those of us suffering from post-tubal syndrome?

What do YOU think?

Do you think that there's a magic pill, or a magic reversal surgery which will put everything back the way it was???

Everyone is looking for the magic answer, or the magic treatment, when we should have been informed before the surgery.

Wouldn't it have been nice to have known this BEFORE?

As Dr. El-Minawi stated, re: Post Tubal Ligation Syndrome: >>...of the (PTS) patients (who) present with menstrual disturbances, usually menorrhagia, menometromenorrhagia, ...sorry to say - the majority of the patients ended up as hysterectomy candidates. <<<

In many cases (my opinoin) the choices for treating PTS are grim.

Additional surgery to remove scar tissue, endo, ando, cysts, ablation to try and stop bleeding?

Hysterectomy? (for bleeding and pain - (from Ando?)(Pelvic pain) -

HRT for hormonal imbalance (higher cancer risk).

For women who become informed "after the fact" it's hard to choice for what their best treatment will be. It's an indivial choice. Some women we meet will go on to have hysterectomies (and be told that the tubal had no bearing on their health). And they will state, "it was wonderful", and "i wish I had done it sooner", (what else can they say?)

Some may do nothing, and learn to live with it.
