I forgot.... sorry

I also read on a medical site this morning that if I had a vaginal hysterectomy that I no longer needed to have pap smears because more than likely my cervix was taken at the same time. No cervix.... no cervical cancer! Yea!

I have been wondering lately though if my ovaries are still working in good order and producing eggs still. I know there is a test I can take.

I have to be honest though... from a teen on, until hysterectomy, I have always had a messed up menstrual cycle, always, and I could never really sit down and tell you by a calendar when my periods would start and stop, like most women can do. I know that even with a tubal and hysterectomy I am supposed to be still ovulating and all that, producing eggs and having a cycle of sorts still, just no periods, but I couldn't tell at what time of month or anything because I NEVER, truly, feel any different at all, anytime of the month. No tender breasts, or stomach, etc... nothing!

Is there a way I can figure out that and be able to tell, now that I no longer have a period, on when my cycle is happening each month?? I would like to know so I could sort of link that to breast self-exams. Now I just do them around first of every month.

Thanks!
