Getting in touch with the local papers seems like a really good idea - I might just follow suit if I get no joy on Weds! I had also thought about writing to my MP and the Health Secretary - although I'm sure they'll just take the NHS line that sterilisation causes no hormonal changes. Anyway whatever result I get, I'm now committed to raising awareness on the subject of PTLS so at least when a woman gives consent she is truly 'informed'.
