Saliva testing
by
Dear Michelle,
Your testimony is a very severe one. I know the frustration of having doctors admit nothing after a tubal. Mine said that he hadn't learned anything four years after mine, but now I think he was just not coming clean. He did say that he believed me and that I knew my own body, but that was it. My symptoms began immediately after my third child's birth with me now being able to lactate properly (although I didn't realize this until 7 years later). I had the usual menopausal symptoms-crashing fatigue, hot flashes, irritability, weight gain. Plus I would say, just overall aging. I gained about 30 pounds, not as much as you, but I have learned that some hormonal imbalances cause weight gain. I have posted a question on this site about progesterone cream, since I recently switched to that from pills. I had been taking traditional hrt and found out after my saliva test that I registered zero progesterone, even though I had been taking it for 4 years. Supposedly, many women don't process the synthetic progesterone. I guess that's what happened to me.
I am going to give you the name and phone number of the lab that I used, in case you need another reference. They are called "Life Wellness Pharmacy" and their phone number is 800 210-9434. I had to pay for it myself, but if it works, it's worth it. They test all the female hormones, and if you want they'll also test for cortisone, another hormone. Thyroid also if you need it. They will give you a consult after the lab test comes back and set you up with what you need. Their hormones are not synthetic. Good luck to you! Janice Record janicerecord@aol.com
