progesterone cream
by mandy
Hi Stephanie
The natural progesterone cream can not be bought in the UK.I had to order it from America.(It came in under a week) http://www.natureslight.net is where I got it from. It is the cheapest I have found. But if your GP is helpful he could prescribe it. I don't know if it will help with the pain, it might if you use it to suppress ovulation, but it has certainly helped my mood swings. Have you been checked for polycystic ovaries? They can cause that sort of pain. I have a friend who had bother with them. The cream is supposed to help that too but I haven't spoken to anyone who has tried it yet. It is really easy to use although you might have to alter the dose a bit at first to get it right. You just rub on a quarter to a half a teaspoonful once or twice a day. Apply to soft skin areas eg wrists, breasts, neck.If you want to stop ovulation you should use it every day except the first three days of your period. If its just for PMS or if your symptoms have improved you just use it in the second half of your cycle. I noticed a difference within a couple of days but it can take a few months to have an effect according to what I've read so far.

Have you had any hormone levels done? If you have get copies of results and ranges used and try to check which day of your cycle they were done. All my supposedly 'normal' test results were done on the wrong days so I am planning on going back again next month and demanding a retest.
I did get an interview with a paper. I'll let you know when it gets printed.
See you soon and keep me posted on how things are going.
